We’re looking for a Product Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in London. This is a unique opportunity to bring your ideas and expertise to one of the growing tech companies in Europe, defining the vision, delivering the plan and leading the team.

Our Product Solutions team helps product teams leverage platform capabilities for customers' benefit by supporting the design, maintenance and scaling of the respective systems. The team provides specialist knowhow and alignment with shared practices and solutions.

  • Based within the Product Solutions team, your role will be partnering with one or more product teams in strategic planning, implementing and operating of production systems.
  • With a high level of autonomy, you’ll work closely with your engineers, and make both product and project decisions.
  • Long-term evolution of systems architecture in respective product domains
  • Helping product teams leverage platform capabilities to build better product
  • Support product teams in operational matters
  • Choose your own path to success - you’ll have the freedom to define the vision and responsibility for making it happen
  • Inspire teams with your ideas, knowledge and self-starter attitude

Requirements

  • You understand the value of balancing customer centric thinking and technical skills
  • You have worked with distributed systems with at least dozens of components
  • You have been responsible for operating business critical information systems
  • You put the customer above technology, while finding ways to leverage technology to improve the customer experience
  • You've worked with JVM-based systems, preferably Java
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes and service mesh architectures
  • Experience with the Spring ecosystem
  • Site Reliability or DevOps background
  • Passion for international finance, foreign exchange and payment systems.
